Buy textbooks secondhand. Textbooks are very expensive and can cost you a fortune if you’re buying them brand new. Buying used books is much more economical.
High school is much different from college, as you will need to start all over. College is a different animal, and people aren’t going to care what you did in high school. Push yourself harder and try some new things instead of doing the same things you did in high school.
If coffee is your passion, try not to purchase it each and every day. This is way too expensive. Brew your own coffee. The small amount of extra time it takes will be worth it as you see your savings accumulate with each cup. You can buy a decent quality coffeemaker affordably if you just look.
Learn as much as you can about your major; do not just take elective courses to decide. Look around campus for activities that you might enjoy. Sign up for clubs, and give work-study positions a try. There are various activities that happen at college nearly every week. Try something new every week if you want!
